rclone-backup is a personal tool used by a single person to back up their own files to their own Google Drive.
It requests the Google Drive scope drive.file, which only allows access to files and folders that the tool itself creates in the owner's Drive.
This project operates no server and collects no data. Files go directly from the owner's computer to the owner's Google Drive. No data is sent to the developer or to any third party, sold, or used for advertising.
The access token is stored only on the owner's computer. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
